Section 1: Acceptance of Terms

1.1 Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Ralfy ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1.2 Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Sending an email notification for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.

Section 2: Description of Service

2.1 What Ralfy Does

Ralfy is a productivity tool that helps you manage your LinkedIn presence by:

  • Displaying your LinkedIn feed in a customizable interface
  • Creating custom feeds to follow specific people or topics
  • Generating AI-assisted comment suggestions
  • Managing replies to comments on your posts
  • Tracking your engagement and reciprocity with connections

2.2 What Ralfy Is Not

Ralfy is NOT:

  • An official LinkedIn product or partner
  • A replacement for LinkedIn
  • An automation or bot service that posts without your approval
  • A way to bypass LinkedIn's security or rate limits

2.3 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

  • 100% uptime or availability
  • Uninterrupted access during maintenance
  • Compatibility with future LinkedIn API changes

LinkedIn may modify their platform at any time, which could affect Ralfy's functionality.

Section 3: Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

To use Ralfy, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid LinkedIn account
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • Not have been previously banned from our Service

3.2 Account Creation

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

3.3 LinkedIn Connection

By connecting your LinkedIn account, you:

  • Authorize Ralfy to access your LinkedIn data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Confirm you have the right to connect your LinkedIn account
  • Accept responsibility for maintaining your LinkedIn session
  • Understand that LinkedIn session cookies expire and must be refreshed

3.4 One Account Per User

Each user may maintain only one Ralfy account. Multiple accounts for the same person are prohibited unless explicitly authorized by us.

Section 4: Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use Ralfy to:

  • View and organize your LinkedIn feed
  • Generate AI-assisted comment suggestions
  • Post comments and replies that you have reviewed and approved
  • Track your engagement with connections
  • Manage multiple feeds for different purposes

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Abuse of Service:

  • Use automated tools or bots in conjunction with Ralfy
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or usage restrictions
  • Scrape, crawl, or collect data from our Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify our software
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Resell or redistribute our Service

Harmful Content:

  • Post spam, harassment, or abusive content through our Service
  • Post content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Post misleading or deceptive content
  • Use AI-generated comments to spread misinformation

Platform Violations:

  • Violate LinkedIn's User Agreement or Professional Community Policies
  • Engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior
  • Use Ralfy to manipulate engagement metrics artificially
  • Create fake engagement or interactions

4.3 AI-Generated Content

When using our AI comment features:

  • You must review all AI-generated suggestions before posting
  • You are responsible for the content you choose to post
  • AI suggestions are recommendations only and may contain errors
  • You should edit AI suggestions to reflect your authentic voice
  • Posting AI content that violates platform policies is your responsibility

4.4 Rate Limits and Fair Use

To ensure service quality for all users:

  • We implement usage limits (e.g., comments per day, API requests per hour)
  • Excessive use beyond fair limits may result in throttling
  • Limits may vary by subscription tier
  • Attempting to circumvent limits will result in account suspension

Section 5: LinkedIn Compliance

5.1 Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Complying with LinkedIn's Terms of Service
  • Complying with LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies
  • The content you post through Ralfy to LinkedIn
  • Maintaining your LinkedIn account in good standing

5.2 LinkedIn Session Management

Your LinkedIn session (li_at cookie) is required for Ralfy to function. You acknowledge that:

  • You must refresh your session periodically
  • Session expiration is normal and expected
  • Ralfy cannot access LinkedIn without a valid session
  • You should only connect your own LinkedIn account

5.3 No LinkedIn Affiliation

Ralfy is an independent third-party tool. We are:

  • NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation
  • NOT responsible for LinkedIn's actions, policies, or changes
  • NOT able to guarantee continued access to LinkedIn's platform

LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.

5.4 Risk Acknowledgment

By using Ralfy, you acknowledge that:

  • LinkedIn may restrict or terminate accounts that violate their policies
  • Third-party tools like Ralfy may not be officially supported by LinkedIn
  • You use Ralfy at your own risk regarding your LinkedIn account standing

Section 6: Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

Ralfy and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes:

  • The Ralfy name, logo, and branding
  • Our website and application design
  • Our software code and algorithms
  • Our documentation and content

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create through Ralfy, including:

  • Comments you write (whether AI-assisted or not)
  • Custom feed configurations
  • Profile information you provide

By posting content through Ralfy, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Display your content within the Service
  • Store your content for Service functionality
  • Process your content for AI features (with your consent)

6.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Ralfy, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback without any obligation to you.

6.4 Third-Party Content

Content from LinkedIn displayed within Ralfy remains the property of LinkedIn and its users. We do not claim ownership of third-party content.

Section 7: Subscription and Payments

7.1 Subscription Plans

Ralfy offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans provide additional features such as:

  • Higher usage limits
  • Advanced AI capabilities
  • Priority support
  • Additional customization options

Current pricing is available on our website.

7.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service
  • Provide accurate payment information
  • Authorize recurring charges for subscription renewals

7.3 Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed:

  • Monthly plans: Every month on your subscription date
  • Annual plans: Every 12 months on your subscription date

Your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled before the renewal date.

7.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes:

  • Will not affect your current billing period
  • Take effect at your next renewal
  • Can be avoided by cancelling before renewal

7.5 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

  • You retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • Your subscription will not renew
  • No partial refunds are provided for monthly plans
  • See our refund policy for annual plan cancellations

7.6 Refund Policy

Monthly Subscriptions:

  • No refunds for partial months
  • You retain access until period end

Annual Subscriptions:

  • Full refund within 7 days of purchase if unused
  • Prorated refunds may be available within 30 days on a case-by-case basis
  • No refunds after 30 days

Exceptions:

  • Service unavailability due to our fault (>24 hours downtime)
  • Billing errors on our part
  • Circumstances required by law

7.7 Free Trial

If we offer a free trial:

  • Payment information may be required upfront
  • You will be charged when the trial ends unless cancelled
  • Trial terms will be clearly stated at signup

Section 8: Limitation of Liability

8.1 Service "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 No Guarantee

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Results from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The Service will meet your requirements
  • AI-generated content will be appropriate or accurate
  • LinkedIn functionality will remain available

8.3 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RALFY, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruption or computer damage
  • LinkedIn account restrictions or termination
  • Cost of substitute services

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8.4 Exceptions

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Section 9: Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ralfy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you post through the Service
  • Your violation of LinkedIn's policies
  • Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party

Section 10: Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Using the account deletion feature in settings
  • Contacting us at hey@ralfy.app

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will end immediately
  • Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
  • No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time (except as stated in Section 7.6)

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You violate LinkedIn's policies through our Service
  • We receive a legal or regulatory requirement
  • We believe your account poses a security risk
  • Your payment method fails and is not updated

We may also terminate accounts:

  • For extended inactivity (12+ months)
  • If we discontinue the Service (with 30 days' notice)

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the Service ends
  • You must stop using any Ralfy software or extensions
  • We may delete your data according to our retention policies
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect (including Sections 6, 8, 9, 11, and 12)

Section 11: Dispute Resolution

11.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at hey@ralfy.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

11.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11.3 Arbitration Agreement

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), except:

  • You may bring claims in small claims court if eligible
  • Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property disputes

11.4 Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

11.5 Time Limitation

Any claim or cause of action arising from your use of the Service must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose, or it will be permanently barred.

Section 12: General Provisions

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ralfy regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.

12.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary.

12.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

12.5 Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, or failures of third-party services.

12.6 Notices

We may provide notices to you by:

  • Email to your registered address
  • Posting on the Service
  • Push notification through the extension
